Unit 3 Interaction Unit: Creative and Media Diploma (Level 3)

The 'Charity Begins At Home' website has been specifically created to document and evidence the processes involved in working within the unfamiliar territory of the charity sector.
We decided that working alongside a locally-based charity would prove more beneficial and rewarding as our primary competition are globally recognised branded charities (see research section for evidence).
We hope that the enjoyment and achievement of working on this unit will be made explicit within the site itself. We also hope to make a positive contribution to our community by raising the profile of the 'Joshua Tree' campaign (to encourage donations and volunteer support) by planning a screening in the Rec Zone at Mid-Cheshire College, Northwich (official date tbc).

Blogging tips!

1) Identify use of PLTS (easily accessible in the file attached below), how and where they have been integrated? wherever and whenever you can!
2) Indicate how activities and reflective commentary undertaken as part of the project are relevant to unit outcomes (note: you can find these at the side of each task on the brief)?
3) Demonstrate how you have worked independently?
4) Make explicit strengths and challenges encountered when working collaboratively (can be communicated using video diaries or audio evidence).
5) Always
embed and date websites accessed and reference any work cited that IS NOT OF YOUR OWN to avoid plagiarism and potential disqualification!

Our inspiration...

Just follow the link (hats off to Nat who enhanced the design!) on your bottom-right to find out more about why we were so inspired by the story of Joshua and his family and how 'brick-by-brick' they plan to build a holiday home as a place where families can meet, relax and support eachother.
